Bern University Visit

During her time in Switzerland Alessandra learned how poultry farms work.  Her work also involved collecting brain samples from a brain region regulating stress (Central Extended Amygdala) in young chicks from different ages. The aim of this was to was to study variations in chemoarchitecture in this brain region across development in standard farm conditions.
